How it works

We built it first. Then we asked.

  1. Step 01

    We build it first.

    We read a business's own listing and its own website and build a finished page from what is there. Nothing to approve and nothing to wait for, because it is already done.

  2. Step 02

    It is at a URL.

    One email: the link, and a line saying the page is theirs if they want it. The page is stamped as a proposal from us and never dressed up as their own site.

  3. Step 03

    Keep it, or delete it forever.

    Two buttons on the page. Keep it, and the price is shown before you pay anything. Delete it, and the page is gone and we never contact that business again, in any city or any trade. Do nothing, and it is deleted after 60 days.

Is this a scam?

Why you got a link, and whether this is a scam

It is unsolicited, and we know how that reads. Here is what is going on, and what is not.

  • We did not ask first.

    We read your public listing and your website, built a page from what was there, and sent you the link. That is the whole method, and it is the same for every business we build for.

  • Nothing happens if you do nothing.

    No invoice, no account, nothing to cancel. The page is deleted after 60 days.

  • The link asks for nothing.

    It opens a page. Nothing on the page asks for a password. Keeping it asks for an email address and then goes to a checkout run by Stripe, where the price is shown before you pay and we never see your card.

  • The page says what it is.

    A bar across the top says SUX built it and that it is not your website. Every page we build lives at mysitesux.dev, and the link we send always goes there.

  • One email is the whole pitch.

    There is no sales call, because you have already seen the site. There is one person here and a lot of machines, and you will always know which is which.

If you want none of it

Put your business phone number on our do-not-contact list. It is permanent, it takes one field, and it stops the next build in every city and every trade — whether or not we ever sent you anything.

What does it cost?
The price is shown on the page before you pay anything, and there is nothing to pay unless you keep it. Fixed price. Fixed scope. Cancel any month.
Where did the words come from?
We wrote them, by machine, from the facts on your listing and your website, and every sentence went through the eight checks before the page went up. Nothing was copied from another site and nothing was made up. If a fact on the page is wrong, it is wrong on your listing too, and worth fixing there.
Where did the photos come from?
Your own listing or your own website, and nowhere else. Every one has its location data stripped before it goes up, because profile photos often carry the address they were taken at. A page with no usable photos is built around type instead.
Can people find the page on Google right now?
No. A page nobody has claimed tells search engines not to index it.
I deleted it. Is it really gone?
Yes. The page and everything behind it are deleted, and your business goes on a permanent list that is checked before anything is scanned, built or sent. If you want to be doubly sure, the do-not-contact page writes to the same list.
I lost the link.
The link is the only way in, because it carries a key, and neither button works without it. Do nothing and the page is deleted after 60 days. If you want it gone sooner, put your number on the do-not-contact list and say so in the note.
Can I change what is on it?
Not from the page. Keeping it puts it in your name, and we email you to finish setting it up.
